Lesley Wong
Hello! My name is Lesley, and I am the Owner and Lead Designer of Lesley Wong Interiors, but mostly leader of a fantastic team! Interior Design has always been my passion – from when I was a little girl making furniture for my dolls with items from around the house. As a young adult, I’d give up a night out to buy wallpaper or pillows for my first apartment. With years of experience working on hospitality, commercial and residential projects, I feel I have found my niche working with savvy hoteliers to craft designs that are thoughtful and personal.
About Lesley
What drew you to work in the Hospitality Industry?
I love the excitement and wonder of a new experience. Travelling to new places and seeing new things drew me into hospitality design. I love being in well designed spaces and have always wanted to share that with others.
How do you see the future of hospitality design evolving?
There’s a lot of talk about AI in design, which I feel has it’s place. It can be a good tool, but hospitality is about connection with people. I see that personal touch never leaving hospitality and interior design. We form relationships not just spaces.
How do you find inspiration for your designs outside of work?
Travel – local or international. Even talking with friends or looking at travel magazines, I feel inspired to create.
