Emma Pearson
Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a Designer at LWI! I have always had a love for design since I was a kid, and today I continue to put that same level of love and passion into each design. I’m an Honours graduate of both the Interior Decorating and Bachelor of Interior Design programs at Humber Polytechnic. I’m especially passionate about user experience and the emotional impact of design. I love exploring immersive, sensory-driven ways to create spaces that are not only functional and beautiful but also memorable. I aim to design spaces that are thoughtfully balanced—comforting, functional, and engaging— tailored precisely to the unique goals of each project.
About Emma
What is your role at Lesley Wong Interiors?
As a Designer at LWI, I am responsible for producing detailed design drawing packages using AutoCAD, managing FF&E specifications, and maintaining close collaboration with both brand representatives and clients throughout all phases of the design process to ensure the design intent is executed and all expectations are met. And of course, having fun and creating memorable designs!
How do you see the future of hospitality design evolving?
I see augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) becoming increasingly valuable tools in the technological and visualization aspects of Hospitality design. These technologies offer
a fantastic way to clearly communicate design intent from the designer to the client, while also enabling faster revision cycles, ultimately contributing to more efficient project timelines and improved collaboration.
If you could design a dream space, what would it look like?
If I had the opportunity to design any space, it would undoubtedly be my own dream home. I’ve always envisioned a modern coastal feel—bright, airy, and serene. Think soft light blues, crisp whites, warm natural woods, and a lot of natural light. A space that feels both relaxing and refined, grounded in simplicity but rich in texture and detail. Designing my own home would be a chance to explore creativity without limits and translate my personal aesthetic into a fully realized space.
