Digital Graphic Artist
Asher Wong
Hello my name is Asher and I am the digital graphic artist of Lesley Wong Interiors. My job is creating mockups and visual aids to help our clients bring their ideas to life. Since I was young I’ve always been creative, drawing on any piece of paper I could. I went to specialized art programs throughout high school and was a part of their mural design club, inspiring my future work at Lesley Wong Interiors where my work has been crucial for designs around Canada.
About Asher
Can you describe a project you are particularly proud of and why?
I’m very proud of my involvement in our NEWH Top ID award nominated design of Aiden in Thunder Bay. I mainly worked on wall vinyl designs as well as having the privilege to create the mural featured in the lobby. That process was very rewarding for me!
How do you see the future of hospitality design evolving?
hope to see the hospitality industry create more spaces for people to meet. Third places are becoming less accessible for the average person. If opportunities like this were to be built in and around hotels they would be integral parts of the community.
Can you share a fun fact or a hobby that you enjoy in your free time?
I’m a huge tinkerer! I love creating and modifying things. Something that I made recently was an electric guitar type called a “jaguar”. Being able to wire and then play it was super satisfying.
